I am an American cinematographer and filmmaker currently based in New York City, where I was born and raised, and Los Angeles.

I work in narrative, documentary and experimental film/video, and have an MFA from UCLA (Cinematography) and a BA from Harvard (Sociology). Before becoming a DP, I worked as a freelance photographer for many clients, including Rolling Stone Magazine, Seventeen Magazine, and Nokia.

Several Best Cinematography awards include the UCLA Film Festival and the Freak Show Film Festival.

A short documentary I shot in Bolivia, El Alto: La Tierra en el Cielo (dir. Adriana Montenegro), aired on CNN en Español worldwide and was a finalist in the Concurso de Periodismo CNN 25 - Visión Latinoamericana, a competition for documentaries about the future of Latin America.
